ANNOUNCEMENTS

Welcome to Main Street Pet Spa. We are located at
50 W. Main Street in the Borough of Rockaway, NJ. We specialize in Grooming, Training, and Fun.

The spa is owned by Ron Gewirtzman. Ron has been working with dogs for over 30 years and is a graduate of The North Jersey School of Dog Grooming, a Certified Master Dog Trainer and Behavior Specialist from Anthony Jerone's School of Dog Training and Career Inc. — the only dog training school licensed by the New York State Education Department and an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator.

When you bring your dog in for one of our spa treatments, you will notice there are no walls to hide our services from you. Many grooming shops take your dog and disappear into another room where you have no idea of how your dog is being treated and cared for. Contrary to what many people may think, not all dogs enjoy being bathed, dried, cut and clipped. It is important to understand how dogs think and react. Just because your dog does not like having his nails cut doesn't mean your dog is a bad dog and many groomers will treat him as such. There is a fine line between being firm with your pet and being abusive. We know how to handle you pet and will make sure his experience is as comfortable as possible.

Our additional Groom & Play service will give your pet a chance to unwind after his grooming and spend some fun time with our staff.

Hours of Operation

Wednesday — 8 am to 5 pm
Thursday — 8 am to 5 pm
Friday — 8 am to 5 pm
Saturday — 8 am to 2 pm (will be open later if needed)
