Welcome to Main Street Pet Spa. We are a new facility located at 50 W. Main Street in the Borough of Rockaway NJ. Our 3 main services are Grooming, Training and Fun. The spa is owned by Ron Gewirtzman. Ron has been working with dogs over 30 years but decided to get a formal grooming education at the North Jersey School of Dog Grooming and has also received his certification as a Master Dog Trainer and behavior specialist from Anthony Jerone's School of Dog Training and Career Inc.

When you bring your dog in for one of our spa treatements, you will notice there are no walls to hide our services from you. Many grooming shops will take your dog and disappear into another room where you have no idea of how your dog is being treated and cared for. Regardless of what many people may think, many dogs do not necessarily enjoy being bathed, dried, cut and clipped. It is important to understand how dogs think and react. Just because your dog does not like having his nails cut doesn't mean your dog is a bad dog and many groomers will treat him as such. There is a fine line between being firm with your pet and being abusive. We know how to handle you dog and will make sure his experience is as comfortable as possible.

Our additional Stay & Play service will give your pet a chance to un-wind after his grooming and spend some quality time with our staff.
